Launching in the UK: Glossier

Editor’s Note: Glossier will begin shipping to the UK on Monday 9th October!

One of the most hotly anticipated launches of the year finally arrives next month – no, not Ben & Jerry’s, although to say we’re excited is an understatement – Glossier have announced that they’ll be shipping to the UK from October! One of the most innovative cosmetic brands that have launched in recent years, Glossier is 100% cruelty-free, and all about delivering fantastic products that inspire uncomplicated skincare.

In 2010, Emily Weiss set-up Into The Gloss, a beauty website that asks women about their skincare routine – brands they love, what their routine has to include, how these products work with their lifestyle – and in 2014, Glossier was launched. Taking everything that the team learnt over the years, Glossier focused on product over packaging, basic skincare over layers of make-up.

Their #BodyHero campaign celebrates women: fat rolls, toned thighs and pregnant bellies galore. Their packaging is simple and instore service equally as minimal (think Argos-style order forms) with your products packed up in handy travel bags – all bubblegum pink, of course.

From October their online shop will ship to the UK, and we can’t wait to try out their products and put them to the test – starting with the Perfecting Skin Tint, which we’ve heard is a must-have.

Their most surprisingly vegan product? Milky Jelly cleanser *crying emoji*.
