Editor’s Letter: One month down

I can’t believe we’re a whole month old already! After months of preparation, it was a nerve-wracking morning as I pressed publish and sent out those first tweets of excitement on 1st August.

Since then we’ve started working with some amazing contributors (watch this space for their articles), discovered new brands and begun a round-up on Instagram Stories of products that are getting us excited. We had faux leather jackets, watches, soap, croissants and chocolate boxes – quite the eclectic mix, so I’m sure you’ll fit right in.

We’ve shared the big news that’s been getting us excited – like faux fur hitting the front cover of Vogue Paris, the cleaning products we love, ice-cream, pizza and more. September brings a new season, and as soon as the weather heard it was 1st September it jumped into gear and brought cloudy skies fit for a roast dinner and drizzle that was both relentless and muggy. I’m sitting here looking at the sky with a plan to call a taxi to the station, trying to maintain some kind of decency as I meet with clients. Soon it will be hat season, with temperatures fit for a chunky scarf and the comforting warmth of boots. And Christmas! Who else is already excited?

In October I’ll be heading to America to explore Austin, Denver and New Orleans – if you’ve got any tips, I need to hear about them! For now, I’ll see you in my next Editor’s Letter. Happy September!
